ABSTRACT
Fourier transform based, dual-space iterative algorithms are applied to
reconstruct both non-periodic and periodic objects from their X-ray
scattering intensity distributions. For a non-periodic object,
over-sampling to create a large non-support region is the key
real-space constraint for a successful reconstruction. For a periodic
object, over-sampling is not possible in a typical experimental
setting, and the key real-space constraints are the lower and upper
bounds of the electron number density, achieved efficiently through
proper scattering intensity normalization.
