TITLE: Turing Tips and Tools

ABSTRACT

A brief overview of Turing will be presented, including information on how to obtain accounts, available software, and online resources. We will discuss the tools available for building and running applications, and how to use the batch system and interpret the batch output. Additional topics will include performance tips and tools, trouble shooting, debugging, running very large jobs, and how to compile and run Charm++. We hope to allow time for an extended Q&A session, and possibly an interactive cluster session if needed.
